Couple Up provides practical, structured marriage counselling support for couples in Singapore who want to communicate better, rebuild respect and start feeling like a team again.
The 7-Week Relationship Reset Programme is delivered 100% online and combines individual clarity with joint relationship work.
Marriage support built for modern life in Singapore
Relationships in Singapore can carry a lot of pressure. Long working hours, demanding careers, parenting, financial commitments and the constant pace of city life can leave very little space for a couple to properly connect.
Often, the relationship is not lacking love. It is lacking time, energy and a safe way to discuss the things that matter. A conversation starts with good intentions, but one person feels criticised, the other feels ignored, and both walk away more certain that they are not understood.
Simon is based in Singapore and has lived and worked internationally for many years. His work with people from different cultures informs a curious, non-judgemental approach to communication, values and expectations, but every couple is treated as unique.
Could this be what your relationship needs?
-
You keep returning to the same argument without resolving what sits underneath it.
-
One partner pushes for a conversation while the other becomes defensive or withdraws.
-
You feel unheard, emotionally distant or more like housemates than partners.
-
Work, parenting or other responsibilities have pushed the relationship down the priority list.
-
Small disagreements escalate quickly and repair takes longer than it used to.
-
You want practical support before frustration becomes deeper resentment.

A practical, structured alternative
Couple Up is modern, coaching-led relationship support for married and committed couples. It is designed for people who want to understand what is not working, change the patterns keeping them stuck and rebuild the relationship they want now.
The work is future-focused without ignoring what has happened. You will look at how each person communicates, responds under pressure, expresses needs and tries to repair after difficult conversations. The purpose is not to identify the difficult partner. The pattern is the problem, not your partner.

How the seven-week programme works
Individual Clarity
Two sessions in the first week give each partner space to explain their experience, concerns and hopes for the relationship.
Understanding Your Communication Styles
The process explores communication styles, values, emotional needs and the patterns that appear under pressure.
Conflict-pattern mapping
You identify the loop that keeps repeating and learn how each person unintentionally keeps it moving.
Repair and reconnection
You practise clearer requests, better listening and ways to repair before an argument becomes emotional damage.
New relationship habits
Weekly actions help you use the learning at home, where the relationship actually changes.
Growth plan and check-in
You finish with a plan for maintaining progress and a 30-day check-in to support the next stage.

Why work with Simon?
Simon Middleton is the founder of Couple Up and an ICF ACC coach & Gottman Trained Therapist. He has spent more than 20 years working with people, leaders and global organisations, helping them communicate with greater awareness and create healthier ways of working together.
He also understands relationship change personally. Having experienced divorce and now being happily remarried, Simon created Couple Up to give couples practical tools he wishes had been available earlier, not vague advice, blame or endless conversations with no direction.
His approach combines coaching, communication and relationship assessments, values work, conflict-repair tools and relationship frameworks. It is warm and human, but also structured and focused on action.
